/ THE DINING ROOM SHERBORNE QUICK-LOOK PROJECT REQUIREMENTS: logo design, website development, letterpress business card, foil-blocked menus, letterpress invitation, exterior signage, window designs.
/ The Dining Room Sherborne restaurant is located in a 1753 building erected by Lord William Digby as a school for the education and clothing of poor girls. Lord Digby's personal emblem was a fleur-de-lys, so I combined this traditional symbol with two girls looking at each other (look at the negative white space) to represent the school girls, and Lady Digby whom the school was founded in the memory of, and their daughter who also died before the school opened. I incorprated an owl at the bottom of the symbol where the leaves of the lily extend, to represent education and learning, and gave it all the feel of a chandelier, as the Dining Room has numerous chandeliers lighting the rooms.
In addition to the logo and website, I designed a letterpressed business card and opening invitation, six foil-blocked menus, exterior signage, window livery and napkin.
